Courses - Certificate III Tourism
(International Retail Travel Sales)

Tourism is a specialist field that offers the chance to work with a variety of people in locations across the world. Our graduates find the program challenging, but it is also designed to be invigorating, enjoyable and fun.

As a travel consultant you will be putting together itineraries for people travelling across the country
or across the globe. You could be involved in air, sea or land transport, tracking down the very best ways
to see the world whether your client is involved in business or pleasure.

Our Certificate III Tourism Retail Travel Sales provides you with the practical skills to advise travellers and the operational skills to advise travellers and manage a travel outlet. You will learn diverse tasks such as ticketing, guiding, organising venues, dealing with financial transactions and making bookings.

In only one year you will have completed your study and be employable in one of the fastest growing industries. This Certificate level qualification was designed by the Australian Travel Training Review Panel (ATTRP) and is nationally accredited and recognised.

As tourism is a service industry, you will need to be interested in people and keen to find ways to make their dreams come true. It is important that you have the maturity to keep your head when things do not go according to plan and that you can adopt a flexible but thorough approach.

This industry is ruled by deadlines and details - so you will need to be very organised and efficient with your time. It goes without saying that you will need a personal interest in the different countries, cultures, landmarks and people around Australia and across the world.
