Another wonderful opportunity that has arisen is to work with the Leukaemia Foundation on their first ever ‘Light the Night’ hosted by the City of Newcastle. It is something we are both enjoyed helping with, as it was an inspiring night to remember, celebrate and give hope to patients and families living with Leukaemia, Lymphomas and Myeloma.
Light the Night was held on Wednesday 9th September at Newcastle Foreshore Park, 5:30pm- 8:30pm. Teams of family, friends and work colleagues lit the night by carrying coloured balloons with tiny lights inside.

Our world travels have taken us through Africa and onto Europe since the last edition. We visited South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania and learned that there is more to the continent of Africa than just the “big five” of lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant.
Since then we have cruised along the Rhine and Danube rivers in Europe and we are in the process of taking our clients on a five week self drive tour through the U.K. and Ireland!

Australia’s fashion future is here and the Hairdressing team for 2009 fulltime students are once again in the loop and were at Panthers on September 12th 2009. We were backstage doing the hair for participants. Lachy Piper and Kimberley Maude set the trend for models on the day. 800 teenagers in one venue, all wanting to look their best!! An opportunity we wouldn’t miss.
