Course Information

The Beauty Industry consists of many varied opportunities. There are a vast number of employment outcomes for Beauty Therapists in salons, health clubs, five-star resorts, day spas and on cruise liners.
A hands-on interactive approach is given to all the subject areas, utilising competency based training and experiential learning strategies.
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is extensive. It takes in many areas, including anatomy, hygiene and figure correction, as well as massage, heat treatment and removing unwanted hair from the body by waxing.

PRE-REQUISITES
- Completion of year 12 to HSC or equivalent/mature age entry
- Personal interviews (if under 18 years old with a parent/guardian preferred)
- Must be able to read, comprehend and write complex information in English
- Successful completion of language literacy and numeracy assessment

- To enhance classroom learning, salon experience is undertaken. This is approximately 160 hours for full time students
